If you chose Job as the Type for your estimate, then when you accept a quote it will become a Job.

  1. You will be automatically taken to the Stage 1: Create Job screen inside the Jobs Maintenance module after accepting a quote.

  2. You can also create a job from a quote by clicking the Create Job button after the quote has been accepted.



  3. Some details on the Create Job screen will be pre-populated from the Estimate Request, but you can make amendments at this stage.

  4. You will need to add additional information following the steps in the Jobs Maintenance - Creating a Job article.

  5. You can then continue with the Jobs Maintenance process as you normally would.

  6. Once a job has been created from an estimate, the Created Task column will update in the grid on the Estimates tab.
