You can split a job into multiple tasks for one contractor, or for different contractors if you don’t want to raise multiple jobs.

Each task needs a separate Work Order sent to the contractor.

Once you have sent a work order for Task 1, the Add New Task button becomes available in the bottom action bar.


Click the Add New Task button to clear all the fields on the Stage 2 screen so you can enter them again for the next task.

Follow the same steps as you did in Jobs Maintenance - Creating a Job  to complete Stage 1 for the new task.

Tasks will be listed separately in the Jobs Maintenance grid.



The Order number is made up of the Job number + the Task number (01, 02 etc.).
