Introduction to Jobs

The Property Management companies you are linked to in Blockworx can send through work orders for jobs. After the completion of these jobs, you can then use the Blockworx web portal or app to submit your invoices to the property management companies.

This article will guide you through the process of viewing any work orders for jobs. There is a separate section which will take you through the process of submitting your invoices and you will find the link to this below.

Accessing your Jobs on the Web Portal and App

You can access your jobs on both the web portal and the app.

1. In the web, click on the Jobs tab in your Blockworx header bar at the top of the screen.
   In the app, from the Home screen, tap on the Jobs link.
   
   
2. In both cases you will be taken to a screen displaying a list of jobs which have been sent to you from the property management companies you are linked to. Any recent jobs will appear towards the top of the screen. Any which have not been viewed will appear in bold text.
   If you have enabled notifications on your mobile device, you will receive a notification whenever a new job is sent to you.
   

Opening an Individual Job on the Web Portal and App

1. Select the individual job in the list on either the web portal or the app and you will be able to see the details for it.
   
   
1. On the web portal, you can also open a new job directly from the Jobs 
   

   section on the Dashboard.

2. You will see a summary of the details for the individual job.
   
   
   

1. In the web portal and the app, there is an option to see the full details if these are not visible in the summary screen.

1. In the web, click on the Download Work Order button to see the full details.
   
   
2. In the app tap on the View Work Order button from within an individual job.
   

In both cases this will allow you to download the work order as a PDF file which can be opened to be viewed. However, unless there is a lengthy Details description provided by the property management company, all relevant details will be available on the main screen.

You will only be able to receive work orders for jobs from property management companies you are already linked with on Blockworx. This article will take you through the process of linking to a property management company.
