Where Can the Comments Feature Be Used?

  1. You can send a comment to a property management company from within an individual Quote Request or an individual Job in both the web portal and the app. You can also do this from within an individual Required Invoice in the web portal.

  2. In the web portal, the Comments section will always be available on the right of the screen inside the individual quote request, the job, or the required invoice.



  1. In the app, access to the Comments section will appear at either the top or the bottom of the screen inside an individual Quote Request or an individual Job, depending on what kind of device you are using.


How to Use the Comments Feature

The Comments feature will enable you to send and receive messages with the relevant property management companies you are working with.
  1. To send a message, click into the box labelled Enter your comment …
 
  1. Enter your comment and click on the orange paper aeroplane button to send this to the property management company in the web portal. In the Blockworx app, this is a blue paper aeroplane.

    1. You will see a message confirming that your comment has been processed.

    2. Your comment will appear in the Comments section and the property management company will receive a notification to let them know that you have sent it.

  2. When the property management company send a comment in response, you will receive a notification in the web portal and app if you have notifications turned on.

    1. The comment will appear within the Comments section for the relevant quote request, job or required invoice.

  1. There is also an option for you to attach a file as part of the comments process.

    1. If you would like to do this, click on the paperclip icon in either the web portal or the app and you will be able to send a file.

    2. Your file will have been uploaded and will be available for the property management company to view.
