Introduction

To help you stay up to date and make sure that you don’t miss anything related to your account, Blockworx can send out email notifications as well as notifications in your Blockworx app. Notifications can be configured by administrators for users and by users themselves.

This article will outline the steps required for administrators to configure notifications and also how they can be configured by individual users.

Configuring Notifications as an Administrator for Users in Your Company

  1. To get started with this, click on the ADMIN link from the Blockworx header.

  2. Click on the Users tab inside the Admin area.

    1. The Users tab will display a list of your users, their contact information, the User Groups they belong to and whether or not their user profile is currently active or has been deleted.

    2. You cannot create a user from this screen. This can be done on the User Groups screen and is covered in the Creating and Managing User Groups article.

  3. When you click on an individual user, this will take you to their User Details screen.

    1. This will list their contact information on the left-hand side and a list of their existing User Permissions and the user groups they are members of on the right.

    2. You can update their contact details in this screen. Remember to click on the Update Details button if you have changed any of their details.

    3. You can use the Delete User button to delete a user from your Blockworx account at the top of this screen.

    4. Beneath these sections, at the bottom of the screen is a Notification Settings area for the selected user.

  4. There are four sets of notification settings with App and Email options available for an Administrator to set against each user:

    1. All eight of the options can be set individually.

    2. Placing a tick in the any of the boxes will allow the user to receive that notification.

    3. If you make a change, don’t forget to click on the green Update Notification Settings button under the options.

Alert
Please note that individual users in your company can also make changes to their own Notification Settings which will override what you may have already set for them.
