Working with Blockworx Contractors - Proposed Invoices

Contractors can submit their invoices through Blockworx.
When they do, follow these steps:
- You’ll receive a notification about a new comment from the contractor on the job:
- Click the notification to open the job.
- View the comment in the Comments tab:

- A separate notification will alert you to the proposed invoice needing your attention.
- Click the notification to open the Proposed Invoices screen and review the contractor’s invoice details.

To receive pop-up notifications, ensure the "Disable Toaster Popups" option is unchecked in your user account.

If you use the In-Tray, you're already familiar with linking invoices to the Proposed Invoices module.
- In Proposed Invoices, double-click the invoice and:
- Click View Invoice in the action bar to view the invoice:

- Click Edit Details to edit the invoice details:
- Adjust the apportionment, budget headings or totals and click Save at the top:

- Click Delete Invoice to delete the invoice.
- Click Query Invoice to query the invoice. Type your message and click Continue to send it to the contractor:

- When the contractor responds to the query with a comment or an updated invoice:
- A notification will alert the Property Manager and Credit Control Manager of the relevant development.
- Click the notification to open the Proposed Invoice screen.
- Updated invoice amounts will appear in red in the pin panel:

- Once satisfied, click Accept Invoice in the action bar:

- This will open the Accept Proposed Invoices screen where you can make changes if required.
- Click Post Invoice to submit it to the Hold File:

- A confirmation message will appear showing the Batch number. Click OK.
