If your contractor uses Blockworx, here's how to raise and work with estimates:
  1. Create an estimate in CPL and add the contractors you want quotes from as usual:

  2. Once the estimate details are filled in, click Send Quotes.

  3. If the Blockworx contractor is linked to their PL Account in CPL, they will receive the quote request via both the usual CPL method and in Blockworx (web and app).

  4. They can view and download the estimate details directly from Blockworx.

  5. When ready, the contractor can submit their quote via Blockworx.
    1. They may send comments beforehand, such as requesting more information.

  6. Any comments they send will appear in the Estimate Quote window for that contractor.
    1. If toaster popups are enabled, you will receive a New Contractor Comment notification.

InfoTo receive pop-up notifications, ensure the Disable Toaster Popups option is unchecked in your user account.

  1. Clicking the notification opens the Comments tab in the Estimate Quote window:

  2.  To respond, type your comment in the Comment box on the left and click Add Comment:

  3. Your response will appear on the right. The contractor will be alerted in Blockworx.

  4. Alternatively, you can open the estimate request, go to the Quotes tab, double-click the contractor’s name and open the Comments tab.
  1. When the contractor submits their quote via Blockworx, you’ll receive another notification.
    1. Clicking it will take you to the same Comments tab, confirming the quote submission:

  1. In the Details tab, the contractor’s quote will be automatically populated and marked as Quote Received:

  2. The quote will also appear in the Documents tab, where you can accept it and send any necessary emails.
    1. If there are multiple quotes, select the one you wish to accept.
