System Parameters - Creating Job Types

Job types enable you to categorise contractors by their areas of expertise, making it easier to locate contractors based on the required service.

To access the Job Types settings:

  1. Select System from the toolbar.

  2. Choose System Parameters from the drop-down menu.

  3. Select Job Types to view and manage your contractor job categories.












This will open your Job Types window. In this window, you can Add New, Amend, or Delete Job Types.



When creating a Job Type you can set an Annual Inspection Frequency. This is set based on how many times during a year you want the inspection to occur e.g. every 6 months would be twice a year so you would set the frequency to 2, every week would be 52 times a year so you would set it to 52. It cannot be set for anything outside of one year. If Annual Inspection Frequency is left at 0 then this means no inspection frequency at all.
