Sharing Inspections on the Web Portal
If you use the
Web Portal and the
Documents tab within it, you can share inspections with your clients.
To share an inspection, select the appropriate
Web Document Type on it. The
selected type will appear as a heading in the portal on the Documents tab. The inspection will be displayed under this heading:
Limiting the Audience
You can limit who can view the inspection in the portal by using the Audience Type drop-down. Here are some examples:
- Select Development: The Development drop-down will appear. Choose a development. Only clients from this development will see the inspection:
- Select Development Apportionment: Both the Development and Apportionment drop-downs will appear. Choose a development, then an apportionment. Only clients from this apportionment will see the inspection:
- Select Development Block: Both the Development and Block drop-downs will appear. Choose a development, then a block. Only clients from this block will see the inspection:
To use these options, edit the document type you want to apply and add any development-related entries to the Audience Types list:
You can manage document types under System > Documents > Types. After making any changes to document types, log out and log back in to apply the updates. Find out more about document types here.
