Inspections Widget in the Custom Desktop

You can add a widget to your Custom Desktop to view developments that are due for an inspection.

  1. Go to the Custom Desktop tab.

  2. Click Add Widget in the top right corner.

  3. Tick Inspections, then click Save.

  4. Click the arrow to expand the filters in the Inspections section:

  5. To run the report, click Save:

Idea
Remove the Include Non Inspected tick if you only want to view developments that have already had an inspection.

Alert
Make sure to set the filters to high enough values to cover both the number of records returned and the inspection frequencies for the developments.

For example, if an inspection frequency is Yearly, you’ll need to set the Days Till Next Inspection Date and Days Since Last Inspection Date filters to periods long enough to cover both dates for this frequency (e.g. 400 days).

You may also need to increase the value in the Limit Records filter.

  1. If needed, drag the line at the bottom of the widget down to adjust its size:

  2. Right-click on the grid to export the list:

  3. Tick the columns you want to export and click Print, Export to PDF or Export to Excel. The visible columns are pre-ticked but you can select additional ones. Move the navigation bar on the right to view the additional columns:
