Proposed Works - Overview

This article is part of the Proposed Works section.
Overview
A Proposed Work is a separate fund set up to handle big, one-off jobs. It helps gauge interest in potential work, and allows you to collect money upfront before the work starts.
Any money collected for these jobs is kept separate from the Development and/or company accounts and not used to cover normal costs. Once the work is officially approved, clients who haven’t paid yet will be billed.
There are two types of Proposed Works available:
- Normal - a request for monies for a proposed work
- Voting Only - a request for votes from clients on whether the work should be carried out
You can start out with a Voting Only type, and convert it to Normal later on in the process.
The Proposed Works tab
Proposed Works are created and managed from the main Proposed Works tab.
Once you have created a Proposed Work, you can use the filters in the Proposed Work Filter/Search to find it.

The "Default Proposed Works Search Filter Current Only" System Setting allows you to configure whether the search filter on the Proposed Works tab defaults to Current records only, or All records.
To open a Proposed Work from the grid you can either highlight the entry and double click, or highlight and click the
Amend button in the bottom action bar.
