Sinking Funds - Processing Sinking Fund Charges

Once you have
set up a Sinking Fund, you can raise charges against the client accounts.

To do this:
  1. Navigate to the Clients tab.

  2. Click Global in the bottom action bar to open the Client Global Actions screen.



  3. Select the Sinking Funds tab.

  4. Select Process Sinking Funds from the Type dropdown.



  5. Select the appropriate Charge Date Code and Charge Date.

  6. You can run the process for All Developments or a Range of Developments.
Idea
Select the same development in the From/To dropdown to run for a single development.
  1. Click Refresh Prelist to populate the grid with all clients that will be charged, and the amount of the charge.



  2. If you are happy with the prelist, click Process Sinking Funds.



  3. A pop-up will ask you for confirmation to proceed. Click Yes.

  4. A second pop-up will confirm the process was successful and provide you with a Batch Number.

  5. The charges will now show on the Charge Transaction tab on each individual client account ready to be picked up on the next invoicing run.
