Building the Report

If you need to check whether your clients have email addresses set up and whether these are marked as their default contact method, you can create a User Report to display this information. This can be done for a single development or across multiple developments.

  1. To start building your report, follow the User Reports section in this article. Use:
    1. Category = Client
    2. Focus = Client Contact Details

  1. Move at least the following entries from the Available to the Selected column (you can include more if you wish):
    1. Client Name
    2. Development Number
    3. Development Name
    4. Default Email
    5. Email

Optional Filters and Grouping

  1. On the Query Build screen you can add Columns to narrow down the results, e.g. to a specific development or a range of developments:

    1. To filter the report to a single development, select Development, Equal To and Ask.
      1. When you run the report, you'll be prompted to enter a development number:

    1. To filter for development numbers greater than or equal to a certain value, choose Development Number, Greater Than or Equal To and Ask.
      1. When you run the report, you’ll be asked to enter a development number. Only developments with that number or higher will be included:

  1. You can organise the report results in the Specification screen, as outlined in the The Specification screen section of this article.
    1. To group clients by email status, drag the Default Email column header into the grouping area at the top.
      1. Clients with a value of True have a default email address set.
      2. Those without one will be grouped separately.

  2. For a clearer view, you can collapse grouped sections by clicking the minus signs:
