User Defined Fields (UDFs) allow you to record any additional information that there isn't currently a pre-set field for. For example, you may want to add a field for a door code on a Development or Property.

Notes
The "User Defined Fields" System Setting needs to be turned on for User Defined Fields to be visible.

To access the User Defined Fields settings:
  1. Select System from the toolbar.

  2. From the dropdown, select System Parameter.

  3. Finally, select User Defined Fields.

This will open the User Defined Fields window, where you can add new user defined fields, amend existing user defined fields or delete user defined fields, as required.

To add a new field:
  1. Select an Entity from the dropdown at the top. This is where you want to use the field.
Info
User Defined Fields are currently supported in Clients, Developments, Blocks, Properties and Purchase Ledger Accounts.
  1. Click Add New.

  2. Enter a Description.

  3. Click Save and Close.

  4. The field will now be available to set in the area you selected.
