Introduction
This short article will tell you about managing your Blockworx password. It will cover how to log in to Blockworx when you have forgotten your password and how to reset your password from inside your account.
Forgotten Your Password?
If you've forgotten your password when trying to log into Blockworx, don't worry, Blockworx will sort you out.
- On the main login screen, just click on the Forgotten your password? link.
- You will be taken to a RESET PASSWORD screen where you can enter your email address and click on the orange Submit button.
- If you have entered an email address registered with Blockworx, you'll receive an email with a link to update your password.
- Enter your new password into the first box and enter it again in the box below to confirm it.
The password you select must be a minimum of eight characters and contain at least one uppercase letter and at least one number.
- If your new password meets the requirements, Blockworx will accept it and take you to the login screen for you to login with your username and your new password.
Changing your Password
If you'd like to change your password when you're logged into Blockworx you can do this from your User Details screen.
- Click on the drop-down arrow to the right of your username in the top-right corner of the Blockworx header.
- Click on the Profile link in the menu which appears.
- At the top of the User Details screen you will see the information for your user account and the User Permissions assigned to you.
- If you scroll further down in this screen, you will see that there are two sections below for your Notification Settings and a Change Password section.
- Enter a new password into the New Password box and then type this again in the Confirm Password box.
- Note the password requirements mentioned above.
- Click on the green Update Password button.
- Blockworx will update your password.
