Custom Desktop Summary

The Custom Desktop gives users extra tools to organise information from different parts of the system by settings up widgets relevant to their role. Some of this functionality is also available in the Dashboard.

You can access it in the Custom Desktop tab.

The tab is made up of widgets, which you can add to your screen. These widgets cover the following areas:

  1. Keys – Displays a list of keys due to be returned, based on data in the Keys tab of each development.

  2. Warranties – Lists warranties nearing expiry, pulling expiry dates set across your developments. You can filter by property manager, inspector or the job types linked to the warranty/maintenance contracts.

  3. Reminders – Create and assign reminders to yourself or other users, linked to a module within the system. The widget also lets you view which reminders are due, either by user or across all users.

  4. Web Users – Authorise and update client web user accounts based on how client registration is set up in your Client Web Portal.

  5. Client Debt Control – Lists clients with a Debt Inhibition on their account, showing when it’s due to expire.

  6. Contractor Insurance Expiry – Reports on contractors with missing or outdated insurance on their PL Account. More detailed information is available in the Contractors Dashboard card.

  7. Development News – Send Development News posts to one, several or all developments at once. The posts will appear on your client portal.

  8. Credit Control Review Dates – Shows clients placed on a credit control status with a review date.

  9. Incoming Scanned Mail – Designed for those using the QR Code scanning system, where documents are scanned, saved and uploaded.

  10. Inspections – Displays upcoming inspections across developments. It works based on inspection frequency set in the Development Master tab, where the Inspection Completed box is ticked as part of the upload process.
