This article explains different ways for you to report on your Credit Control process.

Credit Control Summary

This screen allows you to see a complete overview of your Credit Control system.

To find the Credit Control Summary screen:
  1. Navigate to the Clients tab
  2. Click Credit Control Summary in the bottom action panel

Status Type Summary

You can group the information displayed by:
  1. Status Type - top grid gives you breakdown per status, bottom grid gives you each client on that status
  2. Debt Amount - displays the total debt amount and number of clients in that band

Notes
There are 2 system settings that allow you to configure the debt bands used on this screen:

"Debt Banding Number Of Bands" - here you can set how many debt bands you want to appear
"Debt Banding Band Width" - here you set the range for the band e.g. £400

Please contact CPL Support to configure these.

You can filter this screen by Property Manager, Credit Control Manager, Current/Exited Clients, Office, Charge Heading.

You can right click and export or print the lower half of this screen.

Client Credit Control Report

You can run the Client Credit Control Report to keep track of client statuses and check review dates.

To find this report:
  1. Click Reports in the top tool bar
  2. Select Client Reports, and then Client Credit Control Report

Use the filters to narrow down your search results.

You can filter by:
  1. Credit Status - filter to see all clients on a status or in Dispute
  2. User - this is the user who put the client on that status
  3. Review Date - setting a date here will include anything with an outstanding review date up to that date
  4. Office - only show clients in Developments for a specific Office
  5. Inspector - this is the Property Manager for the Development
  6. Department Managing Dispute - Departments will need to be set up by CPL Support.

The results include the Review Date, so you can keep track of clients on a credit control status that requires review. You can also keep track of this in the Credit Control Review Dates widget in the Custom Desktop.

Client Credit Control Payments Received Report

To show all payments made by clients on a specific status during a certain period, you can use the Client Credit Control Payments Received Report.

To find this report:
  1. Click Reports in the top tool bar
  2. Select Client Reports, and then Client Credit Control Payments Received Report

You will need to enter a From/To Date, and select a credit control status from the dropdown.
