This article is part of the Fixing Errors section.
Reverse Batches
There may be times when you want to reverse an entire batch, instead of correcting an individual entry.
You can reverse many different types of batches using the Reverse Batches tool in CPL.
To do this, you will need the Batch Number of the batch you want to reverse.
Supported Batch Types
The tool currently supports the following batch types:
- Advanced Charges
- Advanced Charge Reversals
- Budget Invoices
- Budget Reconciliations
- Note - Large Budget Reconciliations can take a while to reverse. Please allow extra time to process.
- Client Notices
- Hold to Charge File Updates
- Insurance Updates
- Management Fees

If the batch type you want to reverse is not listed abive, please contact CPL Support.
To reverse one of the batch types listed above, follow these steps:
- Find your Batch Number (for batches such as Management Fees, you can navigate to the Client account of one of the clients in the batch, and locate the Batch Number in the Batch/DBN column on their Charge Transaction tab).
- From the main Clients tab, click Client Global in the action bar at the bottom, then select the Reverse Batches tab on the Client Global Actions window.
- Enter your Batch Number in the box.
- Click Reverse Batch.

- Click Yes on the Confirm Action pop-up window.
- A second pop-up will confirm the batch was successfully reversed.
